About The Event

The Flow of Compassion

A 5-day silent retreat

Starting 4pm Sunday 29th May- 1pm on Thursday 2nd June (Spring Bank holiday)

Cost is £650 (includes a £150 non-refundable deposit)

When we are ‘in the flow’, we are fully immersed in our experience, we embody the experience, we are consciously involved, focused, and have a sense of enjoyment and ease. The heart is essential in enabling flow, it guides us and encourages us to go a little further, to be open, to be courageous and tender.

During this silent practice retreat we will explore the flow of compassion through a series of carefully considered mindful sitting and movement practices.

Day One- Settling and Grounding- arriving on our seat of experience

Day Two- Beginning to open- to our flow of experience, being gentle and tender

Day Three- The Tender Heart- opening the heart creating a space for compassion to arise

Day Four- Expanding and deepening- expanding to others and the natural environment

Day Five-Letting go, into the flow- what’s here now, as we move into the flow of life beyond the retreat

During the retreat we will co-create a supportive community of practitioners. There will be two opportunities during the retreat to come together in small groups to share what is happening within your experience. The groups will be held within a loving presence and will be lightly facilitated by one of the retreat leaders.

Silence is about connection; with ourselves, with meditation, with each other and with the beauty of nature. Away from life’s noise and busyness we can relax and have time and space for ourselves. Silence can deepen our awareness and our kindness and can be a happy and easy way to be with others. If you are new to silent retreats and are not sure what to expect or have any concerns, please contact Lilasuri, Karen or Markus and we will be happy to talk to you about our experience of silent retreats.

This is a BAMBA approved 5-day silent retreat and can go towards your annual BAMBA requirements for membership.
