Education
“Lilasuri created and delivered a Mental Health Ambassador programme that empowered students to explore mental health, share lived experiences and challenge stigma. The work reflects our commitment to pupil voice and whole-school wellbeing and had a meaningful impact on students and staff. Lilasuri is reliable, professional and delivers high-quality training.” Ian Jameson, Assistant Head Teacher, SENCO Chorlton HS South
I support educational institutions in Greater Manchester and the surrounding area, to build sustainable, age-appropriate mindfulness, mental health and wellbeing approaches for both staff and pupils. This includes practical training, workshops, and programmes that can be used day to day in the classroom.
Schools, Colleges and Universities often tell me they are seeing:
-
Rising anxiety, overwhelm, and emotional distress in students
-
Staff under significant pressure and at risk of burnout
-
Limited time and space for wellbeing within a busy curriculum
-
A desire to support mental health proactively, not just reactively
-
Teachers needing practical tools they canuse in the classroom
-
A need for trauma-informed approaches that feel safe and appropriate
My work focuses on helping staff and pupils to understand stress and the nervous system, develop their own resilience, and confidently share simple, safe mindfulness practices with students.
